Norwegian waters oil spill monitoring and forecasting service

The NOROIL service combines data from many different sources, including satellites, aircrafts, ship observations and numerical models, as illustrated in the diagram below. Different service providers can generate different types of products that are all made available on a data server. The InterRisk portal will collect all relevant products for the service area, and distribute this to the end-user. Access to all products can be made through a web browser, without the need for special plug-ins.
